چکیده
Highly dispersed Ni nanoparticles have been successfully immobilized by the zeolitic metal-organic framework ZIF-8 via sequential deposition-reduction methods, which show high catalytic activity and long durability for hydrogen generation from hydrolysis of aqueous ammonia borane (NH(3)BH(3)) at room temperature.

Synthesis of longtime water/air-stable ni nanoparticles and their high catalytic activity for hydrolysis of ammonia-borane for hydrogen generation.
In this paper, two kinds of Ni nanoparticles have been successfully synthesized without and with starch as the "green" protective material and investigated as catalysts for generating hydrogen from ammonia borane (NH(3)BH(3), AB). Experimental investigations have demonstrated that both of the Ni nanoparticles possess high catalytic activities for H(2) generation from aqueous solution of AB. How...
متن کاملRuthenium(0) nanoparticles supported on xonotlite nanowire: a long-lived catalyst for hydrolytic dehydrogenation of ammonia-borane.
Ruthenium(0) nanoparticles supported on xonotlite nanowire (Ru(0)@X-NW) were prepared by the ion exchange of Ru(3+) ions with Ca(2+) ions in the lattice of xonotlite nanowire followed by their reduction with sodium borohydride in aqueous solution at room temperature. Ru(0)@X-NW were characterized by a combination of advanced analytical techniques. The results show that (i) highly dispersed ruth...
متن کاملDihydrogen Phosphate Stabilized Ruthenium(0) Nanoparticles: Efficient Nanocatalyst for The Hydrolysis of Ammonia-Borane at Room Temperature
Intensive efforts have been devoted to the development of new materials for safe and efficient hydrogen storage. Among them, ammonia-borane appears to be a promising candidate due to its high gravimetric hydrogen storage capacity. Ammonia-borane can release hydrogen on hydrolysis in aqueous solution under mild conditions in the presence of a suitable catalyst. Herein, we report the synthesis of...
